Description

Events from the $e^+e^- \to \mu^+\mu^-$ process are cleanly identifiable at the Belle II experiment. To simulate the $e^+e^- \to \pi^+\pi^-$ process, angular distributions from a final state of two spin-1/2 particles can be reweighted to a final state of two pseudoscalar particles using the KK2F Monte Carlo generator. Variations in photon radiation, evaluated using the Collins-Soper and Mustraal frames, account for the leading systematic uncertainty in the process. Higher-order bremsstrahlung corrections are specifically studied, and their implementation is validated.
