Description
Chiral perturbation theory ($\chi$PT) is the effective field theory (EFT) of QCD at low energies and is routinely used to complement lattice QCD analyses. EFT matching can be used to relate objects, such as operators and correlators, in the UV theory (QCD) to those in the IR EFT ($\chi$PT). In this talk, we present a charge matrix spurion analysis to match diagrams with external vector currents utilizing QED isospin structure. The diagrams considered are relevant for QED corrections to the hadronic vacuum polarization for muon $g-2$.
